About-greygate
Established in Leicestershire in 1969 by Robin Stenhouse to manufacture specialised polish products.

Our initial business was continuing production of the Goddard’s range of polishes which S.C. Johnson Ltd had acquired. S.C. Johnson is a world leading company of household products committed to innovation and quality.

We provide a discrete manufacturing service for small to multi-national businesses. We have a wealth of experience to suit your needs from formulation, designing packaging, process, filling and logistics in the UK and abroad.

The company name Greygate was chosen by Robin to reflect the beautiful Bradgate Park in Newtown Linford where he lives. Bradgate Park was the former home of Lady Jane Grey Queen of England. The gate of Greygate is Gateway House the location of our first factory. The Company Logo is the Folly “Old John” in Bradgate Park.

After starting at Gateway house Leicester 1969 we moved to Fir tree lane, Moving to Groby gave us a lot more space and more practical factory being on one level. In 2001 we moved to Brunel Way, Coalville to a new build factory to give a more streamlined manufacture.

We have a reliable conscientious work force who take pride in ensuring each product is of the highest quality, many of whom have worked with us for a long time giving a wealth of knowledge and expertise to production.
